What is a Forward Deployed AI Engineer?
A Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) works directly with customers to turn a business problem into a working AI solution — scoping it, building it on LLMs, RAG and agents, integrating it with the customer's systems and getting it into production. It combines software engineering with customer-facing problem solving.
How is this different from the Generative AI program?
The Generative AI program teaches you to build AI applications. The FDE program adds the deployment side of the job: working from messy requirements, integrating with existing systems, evaluating and monitoring AI in production, and communicating with customers.
Who is this program for?
Developers, data and AI learners and engineers who want to move into customer-facing AI engineering roles. Comfort with Python or another programming language helps.
Is it online or offline? When does the next cohort start?
